Borderlands was decent enough for what it is.
When I think 'overrated',Bioshock infinite,Uncharted series(2 especially),ME series,GTA4&5 come to mind.
It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure this one out....
I mean Ray Charles could see that for gamers, one service is superior to the other.
Only a misanthrope or someone who has been sleeping for years would argue otherwise.
Playing Bioshock Infinite now.
Overrated doesn't really begin to explain it,I'm closer to garbage than overrated.
The original Bioshock was an enjoyable game with some great gameplay, the same
cannot be said for Infinite.
Conker,without a doubt.
Alot of games seem to amount to nothing more than a collection of tedious 'side missions '.Take them away and you are left with an eight hour main storyline set in one corner of a dead sandbox that you just shelled out 60$ for....
Most, not all, open world games are tedious and exceedingly bland after the initial 'whoa!' wears off.
EB is in decline, they aren't even a consideration anymore.
9 times out of 10 the same games can be found at Superstore,WAL-MART,or even Futureshop for less with Superstore often being considerably less.
Sure no awkward rewards program or COD king pitching ' dude,Dark Souls is soooo hard, just insane,I recommend the new COD man, awesome maps, great new features'..... yea,yea just sell me the damn game.
Also with 2 for 1 digital games I'm strug...
A good FF game,good god,would be nice.
occasionally a sort of shallow entertainment can be had by skimming through fanboy comments, occasionally the blind and ignorant are good for a laugh if little else.
A 'true gamer' knows a good game is a good game regardless of what it's played on.
LOS was superior in my opinion,a few obvious similarities like camera, progression are comparable but LOS stands on it's own.
Imagine the 'former subscriber' club is pretty sizeable.
Nice gesture regardless I suppose.
So many disappointments in 2013,some so massive as to warrant a good bender and others very minor and requiring relatively fewer pints.
I actually can't say that anything I played last year wasn't mildly disappointing.
Alot of half finished garbage masquerading as full games lately...
When you buy a puzzle you expect all the pieces to be in the box.
Nothing a few good updates, some microtransactions and the promise of day 1 DLC can't fix.59.99 becomes 89.99 and the rest is history.
'We are pleased to announce that the 57th,58th and 59th installments of the wildly popular Dynasty Warriors series will release in 2014 on the next generation of consoles. We utilised roughly 4% of the power of these consoles to implement some very minimal gameplay changes. The games will retail at 59.99$ and include a code to unlock alternate color schemes for all 585 characters.'
I'm stoked !
I would go with Sony C+,Microsoft D.
Nintendo I can't honestly grade as I have no idea what they did in 2013 outside of common knowledge,ie; 3DS sells alot.Game-wise I have no clue.
GTA online suffers from the same issues that seem to plague ambitious open ended games. It promises great things but never seems to deliver them.
I would likely give it another go if R* could deliver on the idea but I have my doubts.
GT5.5 is all it is,could have been an add-on for all it's worth. The 59.99$ asking price is laughable if not downright criminal.
No endurance, easy challenges and licences, lame career mode,3rd world driver AI and short-cutting,so many useless cars,so few new and worthwhile cars, horrid rally physics for 2 entire laps,no 'best lap' autosave/update per course...
The actual driving is decent enough still but I would have to agree that GT has run it's cour...
Not really an accomplishment per se,considering the games in question.
A small victory of sorts could be had in some sense if you looked hard enough.
It's a strange comparison made even stranger by the attention surrounding it.
C+
not terrible but definitely not great either.Too many games I had thought were going to be great ended up being mediocre.
The 'casuals' can't be blamed for the lack of content in GT5.5.
Endurance races will be added to the game later I assume,I fully expect to have to pay for them.
Maybe the piece that powers the 'trolling' auto defense mechanism when presented with a different idea, maybe not.
Not 'trolling',I'm truly sorry if you can't understand that,it's unfortunate but some part of me really doesn't care...at all.
